Neal O'Farrell is a seasoned expert in cybersecurity and consumer protection, currently serving as a Contributing Writer and member of the Expert Review Board at CNET, focusing on consumer fraud and identity theft. As an Industry Mentor for the National Science Foundation I-Corps Mentor program, Neal contributes to projects addressing misinformation and disinformation. The founder of Think Security First!, Neal pioneered the first national cybersecurity awareness campaign in 2002, which continues to offer tailored training programs. Additional roles include advising for DropVault and Taliwareâ„¢, being a Fellow at the EP3 Foundation, serving on the Board of Advisors for Cybertrust America, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Coleman Research. Neal also produces the documentary series "In The Company of Thieves," which educates consumers on identity theft. Previously, Neal was the Executive Director of The Identity Theft Council, enhancing community awareness and supporting victims of identity theft. Education was completed at Technological University Dublin and St. Benildus.
