Felipe Castaneda currently serves as Vice President Technical Services at Talisker Resources Ltd., a position held since January 2021, following roles as Technical Services Manager and Project Geologist within the same company. Previously, Felipe was Project Manager at CBRE from December 2019 to November 2020 and Exploration Manager at Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. from June 2016 to November 2019, where significant projects included leading a $33 million brownfields infill drill project that enhanced gold resource estimates by 800,000 oz. Felipe's early career includes positions at Teck Resources Limited as a Geologist and Field Assistant, as well as internships as a GIS Student Research Assistant and Geological Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Geology and Physical Geography from The University of British Columbia, a Project Management Certificate from UBC Sauder School of Business, and Professional Development in Environmental Impact Assessment from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
