Stephen Rice

Stephen Rice has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stephen is currently the President & CEO of TalentSensus, a company that aims to recognize people's skills and eliminate unconscious bias. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of TalentSensus since August 2015.

Before joining TalentSensus, Stephen worked at Skills for Justice - Horizon 2020 where they were a Business Development Manager from June 2014 to August 2015. Stephen also held the position of Workforce Development Advisor from September 2011 to June 2014, where they collaborated with employers from the Justice Sector in Northern Ireland and contributed to various projects assisting the Justice Sector in Northern Ireland and Europe.

From October 2010 to September 2011, Stephen worked as a Project Manager for Neighbourhood Renewal at Ards and North Down Borough Council. In this role, they managed Peace and Reconciliation Training projects and was involved in community engagement, training organizations, EU fund administration, and application.

From August 2008 to July 2010, Stephen worked as a Course Manager at Common Purpose, where they developed and delivered Leadership Development Courses. Stephen also played a key role in networking and promoting the ethos of leading beyond authority.

Stephen's earlier experiences include working as a Clerical Supervisor (Managing Authority) at the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) from January 2007 to January 2008. Stephen began their career at Belfast YMCA as a Fitness Instructor while completing their BSc in Sports Studies. Stephen later became a Global Youth Worker at Belfast YMCA, representing Ireland at the Asia/Pacific Alliance of YMCA's conference in Kuala Lumpur in 2006.

Overall, Stephen Rice has demonstrated a strong leadership background and a dedication to promoting skills recognition, workforce development, and community engagement throughout their career.

Stephen Rice attended Newtownbreda High School from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies. During the same period, they also attended Ulster University and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies.
