Martin Weldi has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the insurance industry. Martin joined Talanx in 2018 as the Head of Group Corporate Development. Prior to that, they were the Geschäftsführer/Managing Director at Hannover Digital Investments GmbH. From 2013 to 2018, Martin held multiple positions at HDI Group, including Head of Motor Claims Management and Geschäftsführer/Managing Director of SSV Schadenschutzverband GmbH. Before entering the insurance industry, Martin worked as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 2003 to 2013.

Martin Weldi received their Diplom in Europäische Wirtschaft from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg from 1998 to 2003. Martin then pursued further education in Finance/Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt, earning a Dr. rer. pol. degree from 2006 to 2008. During their studies, Martin also had the opportunity to study Finance at Roosevelt University from 2001 to 2002, although they did not receive a degree from this institution.
