Nicola Muriuki currently serves as the Director of Legal for Global Growth in Kenya and India at Tala, a role held since November 2021, following previous experience as Senior Legal Counsel in Kenya. Before joining Tala, Nicola worked at JMiles & Co. from August 2015 to September 2020, where progression through the ranks included roles as Director, Assistant Director, and Associate. Earlier legal experience includes positions as Solicitor, Trainee Solicitor, and Legal Assistant at Kingsley Napley LLP from June 2007 to October 2012, as well as a Paralegal role at Mills & Reeve LLP from October 2005 to June 2007. Nicola's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Law LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the West of England, and completion of The Effective Director Programme at Strathmore Business School in June 2022.
