Rachel Quayle has a strong background in tax and accounting with experience in various roles and organizations. Rachel most recently worked as the Head of Tax at TAL Australia starting in August 2022. Before that, they held the same position at AIA Australia from August 2020 to September 2022. Prior to their roles at insurance companies, Rachel worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Commonwealth Bank from April 2018 to August 2020. Rachel also served as the Tax & Accounting Manager at Mercury Private from July 2015 to January 2018 and as a Senior Tax Manager at Lion Co from February 2014 to July 2015. Rachel's early career included a long tenure at Macquarie Group, where they were a Division Director - Tax Manager responsible for the taxation of various products in the Banking and Financial Services Group from April 2004 to October 2013. Rachel began their career as a Tax Analyst at Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu from 2000 to 2003.

Rachel Quayle attended Kambala, an unknown educational institution. Rachel then went on to complete their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, with a major in Accounting, Commercial Law, and Economics from the University of Sydney from 1996 to 1999. Rachel later pursued a Masters of Commerce (Taxation) degree at UNSW from 2000 to 2001. Rachel also became a Registered Tax Agent through the Tax Agent Services Board. Rachel completed their education by attending the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 2001 to 2004, without obtaining a specific degree or field of study.
