Rao Razaq, born on April 14, 1960, in Khanewal, is a seasoned mechanical inspector with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Starting a career at Pakistan Steel Mill as an Instrument Technician from 1979 to 1988, Rao advanced to positions such as Instrument Supervisor at HMC Takila (1988-1995) and NDT Technician at AOT Libya from 1995 to 2003. Since April 1996, Rao has held the role of Mechanical Inspector at Harouge Oil Operations and Taknia Engineering, specializing in welding and pipeline inspections, as well as various non-destructive testing techniques. Rao also serves as a Mechanical Inspector at VEBA. Educational background includes a BA in Economics from Karachi University and technical training at FG Technical High School and Asghar Mall College. Proficient in English, Arabic, and Urdu, Rao is a family-oriented individual, married with four children, and possesses a clear driving license for both Pakistan and Libya.
