Seamus Harrington currently serves as Vice President and Head of Product Operations & External Supply at Takeda, where responsibilities include developing and implementing manufacturing strategies for a $5 billion portfolio of Plasma Derived Therapies. Additionally, Seamus co-leads the Industry 4.0 Transformation program across a seven-site network. Prior to this role, Seamus was the Head of Plasma Business Operations at Takeda, a position assumed after the acquisition of Shire. At Shire, Seamus held roles focusing on operational excellence for global supply chains and operations. Previous experience includes leadership in operational excellence at Ipsen and various engineering and quality roles at Eli Lilly. Seamus holds an Executive MBA from University College Dublin and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Munster Technological University, supplemented by a management diploma from University College Cork.
