Phaedra Charles is an accomplished brand designer with extensive experience in the design industry. Currently serving as a Brand Designer at Gander since March 2021, Phaedra previously held the role of Partner and Designer at Charles&Thorn from June 2015 to June 2022, where notable clients included Tiffany & Co, Google, and The New York Times. Phaedra's background also includes positions as a Senior Designer at Louise Fili Ltd and a Graphic Artist/Signmaker at Whole Foods Market, where responsibilities involved signage maintenance. Contributions to the AIGA Salt Lake City include serving as Communications Director and Programming Co-Director, while early career experiences include internships at Marriott Library Book Arts Program and R&R Partners, where foundational skills in design and production were developed. Phaedra holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Utah and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Typeface Design from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
