Alison Novak is a co-founder and principal of Humane Works and Upside Collaboration Co, driving innovative initiatives in real estate development and community investment. At Humane Works, Alison advises various clients, including Google X, focusing on equitable and inclusive technology tools in real estate, and a nationally recognized Black-owned real estate firm, aiding in team restructuring and investment strategies. Alison previously held significant roles at Sidewalk Labs as the Head of Urban Development and at The Hudson Companies, Inc. as an equity investor and Investment Committee member. An accomplished leader with a strong academic background in city planning and real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Grinnell College, Alison's experience also includes founding Broadway Builders LLC.
