Yan Liu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and advanced technology research. Currently serving as the Director of the AI Research Institute at Taikang Insurance Group Inc. since January 2020, Yan Liu oversees initiatives in AI, Big Data, and Blockchain. Additionally, as the Director of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Taikang Insurance Group since July 2016, responsibilities include R&D in face recognition, OCR, speech analysis, and text recognition. Prior experience encompasses a role as Senior Researcher and Director of the Big Data Department at CHINA HUA RONG HOLDINGS Co. Ltd., focusing on image recognition and video content mining. Yan Liu holds multiple advanced degrees in image and video processing, including a post-doctoral degree from Peking University and a Doctorate from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
