Zakaria Eltahir

Associate Professor at Taibah University

Zakaria Eltahir is an accomplished academic and medical professional serving as an Associate Professor at Taibah University since November 2018, where leadership is shown in a significant project regarding Gastero-esophageal Reflux Disease and its association with Barrett’s cancer within the local population. Concurrently, Eltahir has been a Doctor of Cellular & Molecular Pathology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust since October 2010, contributing to the GI & Lymphoma Unit and overseeing operations in a 100,000 WGS hub laboratory. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Swansea College of Medicine focused on Genetic Toxicology and drug safety.
