Walaa Alharthi is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology. Currently serving as the Innovation Labs Manager at the Madinah Region Development Authority (MRDA) since August 2022, Walaa has also been contributing to Taibah University as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer since February 2015. Previous roles include founding and directing the VR/AR Lab and Blockchain Lab at TaibahValley from September 2018 to May 2020, and serving as a demonstrator in animation pipeline and VFX at the University of Kent from September 2011 to December 2012. Walaa's career began as a 3D artist at Dunia Production in early 2010. Walaa holds a BSc in Computer Science from Taibah University, a Master of Science in Computer Animation, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kent.
