Saad Alharbi is a Professor and Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Taibah University since 2010, where Saad also served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Dean of Information Technology, overseeing various projects including the electronic portal and financial systems. In addition, Saad was Head of the Computer Science Department and Assistant Professor at the University of Prince Mugrin from June 2016 to June 2017, while also acting as a part-time consultant for the Blended Learning initiative. Additionally, Saad contributed as a consultant to the Saudi eGovernment Program from June 2015 to June 2017, serving on the national team for measuring transformation. Saad's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Software Engineering from the University of Bradford.
