Anwar Sayed is an Associate Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at Taibah University since August 2012, where Anwar also serves as the Head of the Medical Microbiology and Immunology Department. Additionally, Anwar Sayed is a Visiting Research Fellow at Lund University and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Taibah University Medical Sciences. Anwar Sayed's previous roles include Honorary Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, where Anwar Sayed also held the position of Graduate School Union Academic and Welfare Officer for Medicine. Anwar Sayed's educational background includes a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research (Immunology) from Imperial College London, a Master of Public Health from the University of Wolverhampton, a Master’s Degree in Immunology from Imperial College London, and an MBBS from Taibah University.
