John Neagley is the Founder and Principal of Blue Native Consulting LLC since August 2019 and serves as a Business Mentor for the StartBlue Accelerator Program at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Additionally, John is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board at Ocean Aero Inc, which specializes in environmentally powered autonomous underwater and surface vehicles. John Neagley boasts a distinguished 35-year career with the US Navy, culminating in roles as Program Executive Officer for Unmanned and Small Combatants and Littoral Combat Ships, along with serving as Deputy Commander for Fleet Readiness at NAVWAR San Diego. Early in their career, John was a Marine Biologist at the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium. Educational credentials include a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University, an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a B.A. in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire, among others.
