Andrew Shult has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2011, they began their career in the US Army as a Captain, where they commanded the 949th Transportation Company Floating Craft and was responsible for the operational readiness of millions of dollars in military equipment and assets. Andrew also led joint exercises with counterparts from the Republic of Korea.
In 2014, Shult transitioned to the political sector, starting as a Press Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. Andrew then worked as a Deputy Digital Director, Digital Director, and Digital Strategist, supporting various committees and managing social media channels. Their responsibilities included creating and driving digital content, producing videos and graphics, and communicating committee issues through various platforms.
Shult also gained experience in campaign management, serving as the Field Director for Miller Baker for State Senate in 2011 and the Field Representative for Linda McMahon for US Senate in 2012. Andrew organized field programs, oversaw staff and volunteers, and represented the campaigns at events and meetings.
In the private sector, Shult worked as the Vice President of Creative & Digital Strategy for the American Investment Council, where they focused on creative and digital initiatives. Andrew Shult attended the University of Richmond from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Andrew pursued their studies in the field of Political Science and Government during this time.
