Kevin Baxter has over 30 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Kevin has held various roles in different companies, starting as a production engineer at Amoco Canada Ltd in 1990. Kevin then worked as an exploitation engineer at Anderson Exploration Ltd before joining Beau Canada Exploration Ltd as a production engineer. Kevin later joined Occidental Petroleum Yemen as a production engineer and then moved to Nexen, where they held several positions including production engineering manager, development manager, general manager of reservoir development, and production support manager. Kevin then joined Bankers Petroleum Ltd as a technical director and later as the deputy general director of production and operations. Kevin then joined Canadian International Energy Corp as the vice president of production and operations. Most recently, they have been working at Octavia Energy (Block S-1) Inc as the general manager. Kevin's current role is as the vice president and technical manager at TAG Oil Ltd, where they are responsible for leading technical and operations activities in Egypt, liaising between partners, government, and head office, and building a team of production and technical specialists.
Kevin Baxter attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2014 for Executive Training in Organizational Leadership. Kevin also studied at the University of Calgary from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
