Jane Burton has been working in the financial industry for over 20 years. Jane started their career as a business project manager at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Jane then worked as a consultant for Jane Burton Consulting and Hood Sweeney. In 2015, they became the acting program manager for SA Health. In 2016, they joined the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance as the manager of account management. Jane then became the chief financial officer for Primary Industries and Regions SA in 2018. Currently, they are the treasurer at TAFE SA.
Jane Burton graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Economics in accounting. Jane then went on to get their certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand as a Chartered Accountant.
