Hems Kanabar has a strong background in sales, technology solutions, and partner management. Hems currently holds the position of Director of Sales & Technology Solutions at Tactus Group, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they gained extensive experience at Microsoft, where they held various roles over a span of 15 years. Their roles at Microsoft included Senior Account Tech Strategist, Strategic Partner Technology Manager, and Partner Technology Manager, all within the EMEA region. In these positions, Hems demonstrated their ability to drive partner growth, develop technical plans, and ensure OEM readiness for Microsoft products. Hems also worked as a Microsoft System Engineer in the UK. Before joining Microsoft, they were the Chief Engineer at Viglen XMA, overseeing product development and R&D in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers in EMEA, USA, and Greater Asia. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Certification Engineer at Viglen.

Hems Kanabar received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Honors from Kingston University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Hems has obtained several certifications over the years. Hems completed the "Next Generation AI: An Intro to GPT-3" course offered by LinkedIn in April 2023. In March 2023, they completed the "Surface Modern Management Mission" training provided by Microsoft. In November 2022, Hems obtained certifications in "Microsoft Modern Endpoints Accreditation" and "Windows 11 Pro 2022 Accreditation" from Microsoft. Hems also achieved the "Achievement in Accessibility" certification from Microsoft in August 2021. Prior to that, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification in February 2021 and the "Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals" certification in November 2020. In June 2020, Hems completed the "Accessibility in Action" course offered by Credly.
