Hector Vazquez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hector began their career at A|X Armani Exchange as a Key Holder/Supervisor in 1990 and later moved on to Eddie Bauer, where they served as a General Manager from 1993 to 1999. In 1999, they joined SEPHORA, where they held various roles including Operations General Manager, General Manager LATAM, Senior Traveling Team Manager, and Store Director until 2015. Hector then joined adidas in 2015 as a General Manager, and over the years, they held several leadership positions within the company, including General Manager of People, General Manager of Sales, General Manager Originals, and Global Flagship 5th Ave General Manager Of Mens Division. Hector Vazquez recently worked at Tacombi, where they served as a Training Restaurant Managing Partner and then as a Managing Partner from 2021 to 2022.

Hector Vazquez pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fashion Merchandising from SUNY Oneonta, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Creating a Culture of Learning," "How to Network When You Don't Like Networking," and "Interviewing Techniques" from LinkedIn, all in April 2020. Furthermore, they completed a certification in "Having Difficult Conversations" in February 2019, also from LinkedIn.
