Elizabeth Allen, MA, HDFS, currently serves as the Behavioral Health-Health Promotion Coordinator III at Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department since February 2018. With a robust background in health and family services, Elizabeth previously held various positions at Centene Corporation from May 2012 to February 2018, including Quality Improvement Manager and Program Specialist for Apple Health Core Connections foster care. From April 2005 to May 2012, Elizabeth worked as a Family Advocate for Bethel School District and was a Family Educator at Children's Home Society of Washington from July 2001 to December 2004. Elizabeth earned a Master of Arts in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2014-2016) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University (1997-2000), along with education in Human Development and Family Science, Family and Community Services from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
