Colleen Meiners currently serves as the Policy and Government Relations Coordinator at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, focusing on strategic relationships and government affairs activities. Previously, Colleen held the position of Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula Director for the United States Senate, where extensive relationships with various stakeholders were cultivated on behalf of Senator Patty Murray. Colleen’s experience also includes roles such as Management System Analyst for the Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises, Washington State Director for Organizing for Action, and Regional Field Director for Obama for America. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Western Washington University.
