Jon Giampietro's work experience is as follows:
- From November 2005 to the present, Jon has been the V.P. Valves & Accessories Business Unit at Taco Comfort Solutions. In this role, they are responsible for the full P&L performance of the business unit, determining its strategic direction, and achieving double-digit growth year on year. Jon also establishes yearly operational expense and capital budgets.
- From January 1996 to January 2006, Jon worked as a Business Unit Global Manager at Procter & Gamble. Jon managed operations for the Venus and Sensor Products lines at the South Boston Manufacturing Facility, and oversaw the transition of the Sensor product line move from South Boston to Brazil. Jon also managed the Venus operation during the launch of the Venus Devine product introduction.
- From January 1994 to January 1996, Jon was an Assembly & Injection Molding Manager at Hasbro. Jon spent one year as a manager in the injection molding facility, where they implemented an SPC system that significantly reduced reject rates. Jon then moved to the assembly facility, where they managed 2nd shift operations and supervised approximately 350 indirect reports and 10 supervisors.
- From January 1992 to January 1994, Jon worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. In this position, they focused on continuous improvement activities such as reducing setup/change-over time, tooling consolidation, and eliminating non-value added material handling. Jon also supervised the production planning department.
Jon Giampietro received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Rhode Island in the years 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced Graduate Degree in Management of Information Systems from Bryant University between 2004 and 2006 with a specialization in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Jon also holds a Master's Degree in Operations Management, which they obtained from Rhode Island College from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Jon Giampietro has also obtained a certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in January 2003.
