David Shim has worked in the professional world since 2006. David began their career at SKS Consulting, LLC as an Accountant. In 2008, they moved to Novosad, Lyle & Associates, PC as a Tax and Financial Consultant. Since 2016, they have been employed at Tack Mobile as a Software Engineer.

David Shim attended the Turing School of Software & Design in 2015 for a full stack web development program. David then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Accountancy.
