Francisco LePort has extensive experience in the technology and business sectors. Francisco began their professional career in 2000 as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Irvine, working on the K2K neutrino oscillation experiment. In 2003, they moved to Stanford University as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Enriched Xenon Observatory-200 experiment to measure the mass of the neutrino. In 2010, they joined Tesla as a Senior Research Scientist on the Battery Safety and Technology Team, leading testing and development of key cell and pack safety features. In 2013, they became the Director of Engineering at Integrated Plasmonics Corporation and a Co-founder and CTO at Tachyus. In 2015, they became an Investor at Boom Supersonic and in 2016 they took on multiple roles at Me, including Builder, Advisor, Investor, and Dad. Francisco also became a Board Member at LePort Schools in 2016 and a Co-founder and CEO at Gordian Biotechnology in 2018.
Francisco LePort obtained their B.S. in Physics from UC Irvine in 2003, and then went on to Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D in Physics, which they completed in 2010.
