Jim Rogers is a highly experienced engineer with a specialized focus in circuit and microarchitecture design, spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Tachyum since February 2023, Jim is involved in architecture and RTL development. Previous roles include Sr. Principal Engineer at Rapid Silicon, where contributions focused on eFPGA fabric design, and an extended tenure at Cloudchip Inc / Agate Logic, as a Principal Engineer overseeing FPGA core architecture through multiple generations. With a robust background in circuit design and logic implementation at esteemed companies such as AMD, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard, Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and has pursued further education at Syracuse University and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
