Pam Currie has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Pam most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer (Scotland) at Tablet Academy, where they provided consultancy, training, and support for the use of tablets in education. Before that, they worked as a Learning and Development Consultant at The Scottish Government, where they developed support sites and strategies for the rollout of the Glow program. Pam also held the position of Virtual Learning Coordinator at Perth & Kinross Council, where they developed websites and curated content to support digital technologies and virtual learning. Pam has also held roles at Learning and Teaching Scotland and Falkirk Council, where they focused on emerging technologies and curriculum support. Additionally, they have worked as an Education Adviser at Redeem PLC and as an Assistant Principal teacher of English at Clackmannanshire Council.
Pam Currie completed their education from 1991 to 1996 at the University of Stirling. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English and Education, with a focus on English and education as their chosen fields of study.
