Wyl Villacres has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a Tutor at Columbia College Chicago in 2012. They then worked as a Marketing and PR Associate at Nerds at Heart from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they worked as a Bartender at NISEI LOUNGE, LTD. from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Intercom as a Customer Support Representative and later transitioned to the role of Customer Success Manager from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Wyl worked at Koan as the Manager of Customer Success, where they developed strategies for customer engagement and led the Customer Success team. In 2022, they joined Guide as the Founding Customer Success Manager. In 2023, they worked as a Client Partner at Incredible Health and later became the Head of Customer Success at Tability.

Wyl Villacres received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from Sierra Nevada College in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fiction Writing at Columbia College Chicago from 2008 to 2013.
