Mariana Muñoz Álvarez has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2012 as an Intern for Training2Go (T2G). Mariana then moved on to become a Writer for Longhorn Life Magazine in 2013, a Photographer for The Daily Texan in 2014, and an Assistant Producer for Texas Student Television in 2014. In 2015, they took on the role of Content Translator, Editor, and Writer for the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas. In 2017, they became a Risk Analyst for BCforward. Mariana then joined Accenture in 2018 as a Community Operations Content Reviewer, and also worked as a Quality Analyst for eTeam and a Job Seeker Success Specialist, Bilingual Spanish for Indeed.com in 2018. Most recently, they began working as a Community Lead for Tabella in 2021.
Mariana Muñoz Álvarez obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.J) in Journalism, with a Minor in English, from The University of Texas at Austin between 2012 and 2016. In 2020, they completed a Certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online. Mariana is currently working towards their Master of Science in Marketing at The University of Texas at Austin, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Mariana has also obtained certifications in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage (March 2021), Inbound Marketing from HubSpot (March 2021), Creative Writing from The University of Texas at Austin, Ethics and Leadership in the Media from Bridging Disciplines Program, The University of Texas at Austin, and Latino Media Studies from The University of Texas at Austin - Moody College of Communication.
