Ryo Kobayashi currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Syzygy Plasmonics, a position held since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Director and Senior Manager at Sumitomo Corporation of Americas from October 2017 to February 2023, and as a Senior Associate at Sumitomo Corporation from April 2007 to September 2017. Ryo also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Mansfield Advisors in August 2016 and as a Manager in crude oil trading at Petro Summit Pte. Ltd. from May 2011 to April 2013. Academically, Ryo holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Sophia University.
