Anup Popat is a prominent business leader and executive, currently serving as Co-Owner and Executive Board Member for Portland Thorns FC since January 2024. As Chairman and CEO of Systems Technology Group, Inc. (STG) since May 1995, Anup has led the company, a SEI CMMi Level 5 Global IT services firm, in specializing in IT solutions for Fortune 1000 and State Government clients. Anup's board involvement includes roles with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, United Way SE Michigan, and the Detroit Children's Fund. Anup Popat holds a degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Michigan and is pursuing the Presidents Program in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Finance & Management at Harvard Business School.
