Austin Little has extensive experience in GIS management and analysis, currently serving as GIS Manager at Syringa Networks since March 2015, where significant improvements in department production and efficiency have been achieved through automation and enhanced training. Prior roles include GIS Analyst at Syringa Networks, where Austin maintained a geospatial fiber optic network database and automated complex tasks, and GIS/Mapping Intern at TDS Telecommunications Corp., contributing to large-scale map conversions. Austin began a career as a Forestry Technician with the US Forest Service, managing geospatial data and earning recognition for hard work and safety. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Idaho and an Associate of Science in Environmental Science from North Idaho College. Additionally, Austin has received various certifications and training in wildland firefighting and CPR/First Aid, along with experience as a music instructor at North Idaho College.
