Mohammad Al-Jalam has a work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Mohammad worked at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent from February 2019 to November 2022, starting as a General Ledger Accountant and later being promoted to Head of General Ledger & Fixed Assets Section. Mohammad'sresponsibilities included implementing accounting policies and procedures, maintaining the chart of accounts, and reviewing general ledger accounts details. Prior to this, they worked as a Shariah Auditor at Syria International Islamic Bank from May 2018 to January 2019. Mohammad Al-Jalam completed their Bachelor's degree in Banking and Insurance at Damascus University from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications. In November 2014, they completed a certification in Practical Accounting using Al-Ameen Accounting system from Al-Khwarizmi institution. In March 2015, they obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Islamic Banking from AlTanmya - Education & Development. Further, in May 2016, they completed Intermediate Accounting (IA) certification from the same institution. In October 2016, they obtained a certification in Preparation for Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Part 2 from AlTanmya - Education & Development. Mohammad also holds a certification in Excel Skills for Business from MacQuaire University, obtained in April 2018. Additionally, in April 2019, they completed a certification in Foundational Finance for Strategic Decision Making from the University of Michigan. Mohammad'smost recent certification is in Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving, obtained from the University of Colorado Boulder in July 2020.
