Bahaa Al Sharaa has extensive experience in operations and program management within the non-profit sector, currently serving as Operations Manager at Syria Relief and Development since December 2017. Previous roles include Grants Manager and Projects Coordinator, where responsibilities involved managing donor relationships and ensuring project implementation. Prior to Syria Relief and Development, Bahaa held positions as Health Operations Manager at Medical Relief For Syria and Medical Operations Manager at International Medical Corps, focusing on HR management and financial coordination for health programs. Bahaa's career began in academia and administrative roles, including positions at the Ministry of Higher Education and UNDP. Academically, Bahaa holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Suffolk and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Kalamoon.
