Stuart Plymesser is an accomplished theater professional with extensive experience in stage management and production leadership. Serving as the Associate Director of Production and Production Stage Manager at Syracuse Stage since August 1996, Stuart has overseen a department of stage managers and directed over 100 productions, including collaborations with renowned artists. In addition to practical experience, Stuart has contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University since 2000, helping to develop the stage management BFA program. Notable projects include stage managing the South African première of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size at Baxter Theatre Center and previous roles at Hangar Theatre and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Stuart holds a BA in Theatre from Rhode Island College.
