Joseph Zito MD, MHA, EMT-P, FACEP is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and medical direction. Currently serving as the Director of Medical Services at Mineola Med since April 2018, Joseph Zito oversees addiction medicine and medical marijuana services. Joseph Zito has held multiple medical director roles, including positions with Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Co, Syosset Volunteer Fire Department, Bethpage Fire Department, National MedTrans Network Inc., Plainview Fire Department, and Farmingdale Fire Department since 2015. Additionally, Joseph Zito serves as Vice Chairman of Emergency Medicine and Associate Director at Progressive Emergency Physicians and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Joseph Zito's academic journey includes earning a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine, a Master of Health Administration from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Hofstra University.
