Vinod Sankar has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Vinod is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Synup since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Chargebee as a member of the Engineering team from 2021 to 2023. Vinod also held the position of Consulting VP of Engineering at ForceSight Online Solutions from 2020 to 2021. Before that, Vinod worked as a Technology Consultant from 2017 to 2021. In 2019, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Indiawyn Gaming, where they were responsible for building an interactive mobile entertainment platform. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Consulting Director at Xooa, an enterprise blockchain startup. Prior to this, Vinod founded and served as CEO at Semoca Systems Pvt Ltd, where they focused on Electronics R&D and Product Design. Vinod also co-founded Globalgig and served as the CTO, developing a multi-country SIM card and mobile roaming solution. Before that, they founded and served as CTO at NetYantra Inc, where they developed high capacity IP telephony platforms. Lastly, Vinod worked as a Product Architect at Synacom, specializing in IP telephony and mobile roaming softswitch development.

Vinod Sankar completed their education starting in 1987 at the University of Calicut, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1991. Vinod then pursued further studies at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) from 1993 to 1995, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology. Additionally, in 2017-2018, they attended the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, where they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics.
