Simon Mack is an experienced Radio Frequency Hardware Design Manager at Syntronic, overseeing a team of 12 designers and leading hardware development for in-house radio basestation frequency variants since November 2016. Previously, Simon served as a Product Application Engineer at ORBCOMM, managing customer requirements for Satellite M2M and Fleet Management products, while also handling significant customer programs and revenue. Simon's early career included roles as a Graduate Student at Carleton University, as well as hardware design and technical positions at D-TA Systems Inc., BlackBerry, and the National Research Council Canada. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University. Simon's involvement in extracurricular activities includes leadership within Engineers Without Borders Canada and participation in the Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy as a percussionist.
