Mahdi Khodaian is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in embedded software development and telecommunications. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager and previously as an Embedded Software Engineer at Syntronic since August 2017, Mahdi specializes in designing and developing radio software for 5G on multiprocessor real-time systems using C++, git, and agile methodologies. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Waterloo focused on developing algorithms and software for next-generation wireless technologies, as well as roles as a Senior Software Engineer at NAJI, where telecommunication systems and radio networks were researched and improved, and as an Embedded Software Developer at Maharan, emphasizing Tetra base station software. Mahdi holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
