Elmarie Grant has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Elmarie most recently worked at Synthesis Software Technologies as the Head of People, starting in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Academy at the same company from September 2019 to December 2023. Before joining Synthesis Software Technologies, Elmarie was the Learning and Development Manager: Legal Services at Webber Wentzel from September 2016 to September 2019. Elmarie also worked as the Learning and Development Manager at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa Inc from January 2011 to August 2016. Earlier in their career, Elmarie held positions such as HR Training Specialist at Osiris Trading from March 2009 to February 2011, Training Manager at The Institute of Direct Marketing from January 2006 to December 2008, and Training Officer at Royal Botanical Gardens Kew from May 2005 to December 2005. Elmarie also worked as a Manager & Senior Associate Instructor at Reading Dynamics International from June 2002 to September 2004 and as a Project Manager at Dimension Data from September 1999 to May 2002.

Elmarie Grant attended Pro Arte High School for Art, Ballet, Music, and Drama from 1989 to 1991. Elmarie then pursued a Baccalareus Artium degree in Psychology, Languages, and International Politics at the University of Pretoria from 1992 to 1994.
