Ludovico Carraria Martinotti has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware design and engineering. Ludovico started their career as a student intern at SPINTEC in 2021. Following that, they worked as a Master Thesis student at IBM from February 2022 to July 2022, where they focused on the fabrication, characterization, and modeling of state-of-the-art Resistive Random Access Memory devices. Ludovico then undertook an internship at IBM from September 2022 to February 2023, working on co-integration and characterization of memristive devices with electronics and optics. Ludovico demonstrated multi-level optical transmission in a Mach-Zender Interferometer driven by a memristor. Currently, Ludovico is working as a Hardware Design Engineer at Synthara AG, starting in May 2023.
Ludovico Carraria Martinotti's education history is as follows:
From 2017 to 2020, Ludovico attended Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical Engineering.
In 2020, Ludovico continued their studies at Politecnico di Torino for a Master's degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs. This program lasted until 2021.
In 2021, Ludovico transferred to Grenoble INP - Phelma for a brief period to pursue another Master's degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs.
Currently, since 2021, Ludovico is pursuing a Master's degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
