George Wolfe is a seasoned software engineer currently contributing to Syntax Indices since January 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at S-Network Global Indexes as Director of Quantitative Research, focusing on index and factor model development and macroeconomic research from April 2008 to June 2023. At US Trust from 1998 to February 2008, George held various leadership roles, including Director of Quantitative & Risk Analytics, overseeing risk monitoring and software development for custom risk reports. Earlier roles at US Trust involved innovations in measuring security selection skill and visualizing complex analytical data. George's career began at Wilshire Associates, serving as Senior VP & Principal, where George managed the Trust Universe Comparison Service (TUCS) and designed performance analysis reports. George Wolfe holds a Post Doctoral degree in Neurophysiology from UCLA, a Ph.D. in Comparative Physiology from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Engineering Science from the same institution.
