Dylan Muir has a diverse work experience. Dylan began their career in 1998 as a Web Designer for Petroz NL. In 2002, they became a Research Assistant for CITI at Queensland University of Technology. In 2004, they started their Doctoral student role at Institute of Neuroinformatics at Uni/ETH Zurich. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at Brain Research Institute at University Zurich and Institute of Neuroinformatics at Uni/ETH Zurich. In 2017, they founded Data Science for Good. In 2018, they were VP, Global Research Operations, Senior Director, Global Business Development, Senior Director, Algorithms and Applications, and Senior Research and Development Engineer at SynSense. In 2020, they founded CorrelAid Switzerland and DataCross.
Dylan Muir obtained a Doctor of Sciences in Neuroscience from ETH Zürich between 2004 and 2009. Dylan then obtained a Bachelor of IT (Computer Science), with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic), Hons 1A, both from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1997 and 2003.
