Seth Katzman is a seasoned Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture. At Synopsys Inc since December 2017, Seth leads a team of over 30 engineers in creating a software composition analysis security application for both on-premise and Google Cloud Platform environments, while also taking on responsibilities as a technical product manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Black Duck Software, where Seth designed and implemented scalable Java applications for open-source software governance. Earlier roles at Cisco Systems and the New York State Office for Technology involved developing distributed solutions and web applications using a range of technologies including Java, Spring, and SQL. Seth holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University at Albany, SUNY.
