Ram Grandhi has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and electronic design automation industries. Currently serving as the Director of R&D at Synopsys Inc since April 2011, Ram has a deep-rooted expertise in engineering leadership, previously holding the position of Principal Application Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Product Engineer at Magma Design Automation, Senior Design Integration Engineer Manager at SigmaTel, and Engineer Software Staff at Freescale. Ram earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
