Gerald Couaillier is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Group Director of Engineering at Synopsys Inc since October 2012, overseeing Debug Solutions and Methodology for ZeBu Emulators. Gerald has held various leadership roles within Synopsys, including Verification Group Site Leader, managing a site of over 140 employees, as well as R&D Director and R&D Senior Manager, focusing on software engineering and various application teams. Prior to joining Synopsys, Gerald worked at EVE as an R&D Senior Manager and at Mentor Graphics in the Mentor Emulation Division as a Software Engineering Manager. Gerald holds a DESS in Computer Science, Electronic and Automatism from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
