Gabriel J. Serna Quintana is an experienced professional in the field of clinical laboratory management and microbiology. Since September 2017, Gabriel has served as Gerente Técnico Nacional at SYNLAB Colombia. In addition, Gabriel has held the position of Director Técnico at Laboratorio Clínico PROLAB S.A.S since 2001. Gabriel also worked as a consultant for the design of a clinical laboratory at IPS Universitaria from 2014 to 2015 and was a faculty member in the Bioquímica Laboratory at Colegio Mayor de Antioquia from 2001 to 2003. Gabriel holds a Magister en Microbiología y Bioanálisis with an emphasis on Molecular Diagnosis from Universidad de Antioquia and a degree as a Bacteriólogo y Laboratorista Clínico from Colegio Mayor de Antioquia.
