Gilber Argenta, Ph.D., serves as the Head of North America Regional Seeds Production & Supply and Global Innovation at Syngenta since September 2023, overseeing the end-to-end production and supply organization. Prior to this role, Gilber Argenta held various leadership positions at Syngenta from April 2002 to January 2023, including Global Head of Supply Planning, Logistics, Quality and Production Research, and Global Head of Seeds Production Research, managing global teams and emphasizing strategy development, innovation, quality assurance, and supply chain management across multiple regions. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and Master's in Plant Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, an MBA in Process Business Management from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering.
