Eduard Ioan is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in IT security, management, and system engineering. Currently serving as an IT Security Officer at Synevo Romania since May 2020, Eduard is responsible for conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with the Group Information Security Policy. Prior to this role, Eduard held key positions at ASRO - Romanian Standards Association, including Manager of Commercial & IT and Head of IT/Production Department, where responsibilities included managing sales and IT departments, overseeing significant revenue budgets, and representing the organization internationally. Earlier experience includes owning Opendatasys and serving as IT Manager at Office1 SuperStore Romania, focusing on IT infrastructure and security. Eduard holds an Engineering degree from Politehnica University and a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Informatic Systems Security from University Bucharest. Additional qualifications include a Business Administration diploma from Extreme Training and an IT diploma from The IT Training Center.
